In the last few decades, the energy efficiency in refrigerators has increased by a large margin. Consumers are becoming more aware of how to save money and how their actions have a direct impact on the environment. This leads to a demand for refrigerator manufacturers to create models that are more efficient.

For making even and smooth crepes that are hard to achieve with regular pans, crepe makers are your best bet. These nifty kitchen appliances have heating elements with non-stick, round griddles where you can spread the batter. A lot of griddles are created from die-cast aluminium for quicker heating and easier cleaning.
Pick your crepe maker
Crepe makers can either be used as standalone units or on stovetops. There is also the electric crepe maker that is usually expensive for home use but are more convenient for commercial establishments. They look like an inverted pan over the base that acts as the heating element. You use the electric crepe maker by spreading the batter over the griddle with a spatula and then you allow it to set while the griddle is heating up.
